Julia and I hosted our first cookie exchange party this weekend! And we'd like to think it was a huge success ;) We had 15 friends over with tons of yummy cookies and holiday cocktails.
Our decorating theme for the party was turquoise and red.
We created a cookie banner using our trusty Silhouette.
And tablecloths made from turquoise chevron fabric accented with red chargers.
We also created drink labels using the coordinating colors.
We offered our party goers two types of specialty cocktails, Cranberry Margaritas or Poinsettas. And frozen cranberries and lime wedges to garnish the glass.
We also had a hot cocoa bar with the option of adding in a shot of whipped cream vodka.
And the best part of our cookie party... the cookies! Everyone brought yummy cookies to share.

Julia was gracious enough to offer her house for the party. Her house was decked out with great Christmas decorations.
We spent most of our time on the screened in patio. This is where we kept the wine. The weather was ridiculous in Atlanta this weekend, Friday it was 70 degrees and Saturday it was 40 degrees. Luckily we had a nice heater to keep us warm.

The main focus of our party was cookies & cocktails but we also had some other snacks, like our famous Oyster Cracker Nibblets!
