The Ultimate Handmade Baby Gift: Part 2

Here's the second installment of the Ultimate Baby Gift!  Last week we showed you how to make a decorative wipe case.  Today we will show you how to make a travel size changing pad.

Materials Needed:
Decorative fabric  (27in x 20in)
PUL fabric (25in x 18in)

Step 1: Lay the decorative fabric right side down
Step 2: Lay the PUL fabric on top of the decorative fabric right side up
Step 3: Fold over the decorative fabric over 1/2 inch on each side of the PUL fabric and pin in place
Step 4: Sew

Completed Changing Pad Dimensions = 25in long x 18in wide

Fold decorative fabric over twice so the raw edges are folded under

Make sure your corners are folded over nicely!

The corners are the hardest part of the project but the prettier they look the happier you will be!

This project is very easy and perfect for any beginner sewer!!
Next week I will show you how to make a clutch to carry the wipe case and changing pad in!
