Fall Roundup

It's Fall Y'all!

Atlanta finally feels like fall.  The mornings & nights are cool and the leaves are starting to change.  This time of year makes us think of football games, apple picking, pumpkin carving, racking leaves, and enjoying a cocktail by the fire.

Today we are sharing with you a Fall Roundup of our fall crafts & recipes!

We've compiled all of our fall crafts and recipes from this year and last year.  Taking a trip down memory lane has definitely been shocking.  It's amazing to see how much our tastes and blogging abilities have changed over the years.

We hope these fall crafts and recipes will inspire you to start filling your home with the colors and smells of fall!

This is one of our favorite cookie recipes!! These cookies come out sooo moist and delicious.  Plus this recipe only calls for two ingredients - can it get any easier than that?

Light & Creamy Pumpkin Pie

Shockingly we didn't grow up loving pumpkin pie...it just wasn't that popular at our Thanksgiving dinners.  But this simple Pumpkin Pie recipe has definitely changed our minds and opinions about this fall staple.  Thanks to Elizabeth's boyfriend for introducing us to this!

Two Ingredient Carrot Cookies

This is pretty much the same cookie recipe as above, only one small difference - we used carrot cake mix instead of spice cake mix.  This recipe is so versatile and it's yummy with either cake mix. Plus you can add nuts, raisins or chocolate chips.

Ellijay Apple Picking

One of our new favorite fall traditions is taking a trip to North Georgia!! There are a ton of apple farms up there with the most delicious apples we have ever tasted.  Next weekend we are headed up there and can't wait to sip on some homemade North Georgia apple cider and pick out our pumpkins for the front door.

Trick or Treat Door Hanger

Remember this awesome burlap door hanger Elizabeth created a few weeks ago.  It's the perfect alternative to the tradition wreath plus it's just plain fun!

Dollar Store Halloween Candy Jar

We are loving any project that can be created from items found at the Dollar Store but this is definitely our favorite!! These DIY Candy Jars are a great way to display your Halloween candy.  That is... if you plan on sharing :)

Dollar Store Fall Wreath

Here's another Dollar Store project from the archives.  I must say that I'm no longer in love with this wreath but it at least gives you an idea of how to reinvent items you find at the Dollar Store.  If I must be completely honest, I didn't even pack this wreath when I moved back to Georgia.  Yep, that was my gift to Nashville - you're welcome!

Fall Tablescape

This is a great fall centerpiece that mixes all kinds of textures and items.  We love the idea of using the center of a wreath as a candle holder.

Pumpkin Centerpiece

Pumpkin centerpieces seem to be all the rage this year!  This is a great way to incorporate other colors to your pumpkin centerpiece.  Just hollow out the pumpkin and add flowers.

These pumpkin centerpieces will always hold a special place in our hearts since they are from our brother and SIL's engagement party.

We hope you enjoyed this Fall Roundup!! Now it's time to start decorating our homes for Christmas - we kid, we kid!!
