Happy almost weekend!
Last night I met up with friends for happy hour. We tried out a new Atlanta restaurant, Del Frisco's Grille! The vibe is super modern designed in dark woods and bright red lights. The food is contemporary American. But what I enjoyed most was the ambiance! This is the new place to be for happy hour in Buckhead. On Thursday night at 6pm the place was packed and keep in mind its a 2-story restaurant with 2 bars and an outdoor patio. We overheard the manager say they had 272 reservations last night, that sounds like a lot to me! The crowd was mostly young professionals still dressed in their work clothes.
The cocktail list was great, there was something for everyone.
Momo Sauvignon Blanc, $10/glass
Skinny Cosmo: 200 calories, $11
Georgia Peach: Jack Daniels, Fresh Peach juice and lime, $11
A few of us snacked on appetizers also. You have to try the pimento cheese fried balls, they were crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside. Also, they have a good assortment of flatbreads: tomato basil, shrimp, chicken pesto and more. And my favorite were the ahi tuna tacos- fresh diced tuna, with avocados, lime and cilantro in a crunchy corn shell.
Overall, it was a super fun girl's night. If you're looking for a trendy place to check out, definitely try out Del Frisco's Grille. It's a little pricey, but perfect for a special occasion or fun night out with the girls.
Enjoy the weekend!
