I convinced the BF to join me for pottery painting the other night!! I had a Groupon that was getting ready to expire, it was pay $20 for $40 worth of pottery at All Fired Up. I've done pottery painting a couple times before, last time I made a dog bowl for our future puppy ;-)
To start you pick out your pottery - they have bowls, plates, platters, pet dishes, holiday stuff and more. The prices range from $10 to $150. We chose a medium sized bowl for $45.
Next, you pick out your colors. We did a blue background with different shades of green - the idea was a blue sky with green grass!
It took us about 2 hours to paint our bowl. Keep in mind All Fired Up is BYOB, so bring some snacks & a bottle of wine and make a night of it!
Here's the finished product, what do you think?!
I love it!! We've already found the perfect spot for it ~ on the BF's tv stand holding his "collection" of koozies!
