My grandmother said it best on her 87th birthday, "Gettin Old Ain't for Sissies". This couldn't be a more fitting phrase this year. My father recently celebrated his 60th birthday, my grandmother her 87th, and my husband his 30th tomorrow.

We had two black jack tables and one craps table for the party. Everyone was given $5000 at the beginning of the night and at the end you could buy one raffle ticket for $5000. I think I ended the night with $35,000 (if only it were real money) so I was able to get 7 raffle tickets.
The prizes were Las Vegas themed and each prize contained a bottle of wine, a snack food, and cocktail napkins or a corkscrew that represented the different casinos in Las Vegas.

The party was a huge success and I think everyone had a lot of fun!
