Pumpkin Centerpieces

This past weekend my family threw an engagement party for my older brother and his fiance.  It was a huge success!  Everything was amazing...the food, the people, and the decor.

My sister and I were responsible for the centerpieces and she came up with the great idea of using pumpkins.

Here's what we did:

Step 1: Cut an opening in the pumpkin

Step 2: Pull out all of the seeds and gooey stuff

Step 3: Buy/pick flowers

Step 4: Trim flowers to correct height

Step 5: Start arranging the flowers in the pumpkin

We used floral foam to keep the flowers in place

Here is the finished product!

The pumpkins and flowers were bought from Whole Foods and we got a great deal! 3 pumpkins for $10 and about 9 bouquets for $5/each
