How's everyone's Tuesday going?!
On Saturday I ran a few miles to help me get ready for the Peachtree Road Race on July 4th. I specifically wanted to practice running "Cardiac Hill" - this is the long hill in front of Piedmont Hospital, it feels like it goes on forever!!! Luckily the Atlanta Track Club was out there handing out water! Somehow I survived, but I definitely still need to work on my endurance.
To balance out the exercise here's a yummy recipe from Pinterest!! Cake Batter Popcorn was posted by Tasty Kitchen. The recipe is super easy and so delicious, who doesn't love the combo of salty & sweet?!

What you need:
2 bags of microwaveable popcorn (I used light butter)
5 oz. White Chocolate
1 c. Yellow Cake Mix
1/4 c. Vegetable Shortening
Sprinkles
Step 1: pop the popcorn according to instructions
Step 2: melt white chocolate by heating in a microwave safe dish in 30 sec. intervals until melted.
Step 3: stir in shortening - if it doesn't melt, heat for a few seconds.
Step 4: mix in yellow cake mix
Step 5: drizzle over popcorn and add sprinkles
Step 6: spread popcorn out onto wax paper and allow to dry
Enjoy!!
I treated myself to a mani and pedi the other day. I tried something different with my nails, what do you think?
The girl at the nail place calls this technique a "zebra strip" - she added silver glitter to it to make it really stand out! I think it's so fun!!
What are some crazy colors / designs you have done on your nails?
